Community Chanukah Celebration ✨
“Jewish Pride – 8 Stories of Light”

On Chanukah, we celebrate the miracle, the light, and the courage of our people — a nation small in number yet great in spirit.
This year, at our Community Menorah Lighting, our theme is Jewish Pride.

💙 What is “Jewish Pride”?

• Being part of a people built on faith, dedication, and courage.
• Carrying on generations of unbroken tradition.

• Feeling the inner strength that comes from our heritage.

• Knowing that even in darkness — we bring light.

What are we looking for?
We are seeking eight members of the community (of any age) who have a story that reflects Jewish pride:
A moment of strength… an act of giving… a powerful family tradition… a personal journey… or any experience that highlights the resilience and light of the Jewish people.

You may nominate yourself — or someone else.
If you know someone whose story deserves to be shared, you are warmly invited to nominate them. With their permission, we would love to consider their story as well.

Those selected will light a Chanukah candle at the Grand Menorah Lighting at the AJCC on Sunday, December 21, and their story will be filmed and presented to the community.
